    I've encountered an odd problem. The backlighting on the dash cluster is dark when I first start the car, but it comes on after a minute or so, like the lights are on a timer. Is something broken? Obviously the lights aren't burned out or they wouldn't come on at all. Kinda seems like a software issue. Has anyone seen this? Any ideas what it could be?

    I had an issue with my window switch lights staying on. Algar, my local Ferrari dealer, discovered it was a bad relay in the door panel. This sounds a bit different, but my be as simple as that.

    I would have your local dealer look at it. May be an easy fix.

    Have you tried an electrical reset? Turn the battery knob in the trunk off for about 20 minutes and then go through the system startup process.

    I haven't tried that, but I will. Need to find the intructions on how to do it.
