I just finished a major service on my 430 today, which included clutch/flywheel, TOB (and all needed parts), rear main seal and bearing, motor mounts, valve cover gaskets, ball joints, new headers and cat back exhaust. Taking my time, I easily have 80 to 100 hours into it. Final thoughts as I sit here triumphantly drinking a cold beer... it's not hard but also not easy. My biggest pain points were simply removing various bolts. Too many times I'd spend hours on one or 2 before I could move on to the next step. Example is having to saw off the old end of stroke studs, even though I bought the Hill tool. Speaking of which, I'd just go with a crows foot next time, as the Hill tool has rounded off points that don't bite well on the nuts. So after countless cuts and bruises, the verdict is the car is transformed. The new clutch and Hill TOB are awesome, as the car feels so snappy now. And what a difference going from shot motor mounts to new ones! I never would've thought the drive would smoothen up so much.

Thanks to @imahorse and Ratarossa for pointers along the way too!! And if anyone wants to borrow any of the Hill tools from me, since I bought them all, PM me. Long story short...if I can do it, you guys can too:)

Nice work! Having done a lot of these same tasks a few months ago I know how good it feels to be finished.

I think those TOB stud bolts should maybe have a hex head or maybe Allen key or torx on the distal end. Maybe Hill will do it.
