    Hi guys,

My f430 door is jammed. Can't open from inside nor outside.
I used the key and remote, there is clicking.

Anyone experienced this and any solution suggested.

    Thanks

The first thing I would do would be to pop the arm rest off to gain access to the mechanisms for the interior door latch and locking mechanism. If the door cannot be opened from either the inside or the outside, it may be that the lock is not fully disengaging. Once the arm rest is off, you can grab the door lock rod mechanism with your fingers and pull it forward to ensure that the door is fully unlocked. If this doesn't help, my guess would be that there is something wrong with the latch mechanism itself. I have no idea how to get the door apart if you cannot open it.

Although I am not sure about this, I'm trying to think about if you can get that big silver piece off without opening the door. I don't have my car near me at the moment. You probably wouldn't be able to get at the two tiny machine screws in the bottom. If you could get the silver piece off, however, you could take the speaker out, then try to reach up in there and cycle the latch mechanism.

I don't think you could possibly remove it entirely without being able to open the door but it's not necessary as only the upper portion needs to be released and one can then get to the offending items from the top.
