Just found out I need new manifolds. Fortunately under warranty. However this is the third set! Supposedly the 2008 good units. Anyone else having these problems. Car has 39k on it.

Wow, unreal. I know the number of motors damaged due to manifold issues allowing "stuff" to get back into the cylinder is "low", but if these things keep failing with use/age, I wonder if we will see more of this as these 430's actually get driven to higher miles?

    Time for aftermarket headers?

I, too, would see if Ferrari would offset the cost of some aftermarket ones + install....as a frustrated Ferrari owner, the dealership should be siding with you and understand that enough is enough

My car is on its 3rd set too (2006 F1 spider). Last replacement was in January 2012. Does anyone know the warranty period on the replacements after the original 8 year emissions warranty has expired? I assume its 2 years, so I'm having mine checked as we speak.

Well, there is no way Ferrari will support anything after market...will Ferrari cover motor damage due to the failed parts?
    3rd times the charm?....

Do you know when in '08 they were replaced? That was the transition year.

The probability of a Ferrari dealership offsetting the installation of after market headers is in the range of zero to nil. I just cant see this scenario coming true.

I had this conversation with my dealership. The answer I was given is a definite: NO.

I was told 2 years, but have not verified. Maybe others can provide a definitive response.
