430 Exhaust tip rattle

Hi guys,

One of my exhaust tips is rattling on my 430, it's not worth the money to replace the entire exhaust pipe so i'm looking for ideas on how to stop the rattle, I had an idea to try and thread a bolt through the hole at the bottom of the exhaust tip and tighten it against the exhaust pipe so there's a bit of tension between the tip and the pipe which would hopefully stop it rattling, but not been able to find a bolt that will just thread up through the hole.

Any other ideas? I tried a search but couldn't find any solutions to the problem.

Just giving this a bump back up, there must be more people who've had this issue

So are the spot welds round the back of the tips or is the welder just being stuck into the exhaust pipe to do the weld? Any pics anyone of the repair?
