    Hey guys,

Had my f1 pump go out the other night. Got it replaced and seems to presurize the system quick now but I have a leak coming out of the hard line that comes out of the front of the pump. Its part number 218564 but not really available.

Anyone know the specs on that line so I can just fab one. Or is there an o-ring on the front of that line that gave way.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Jeff

I had the same line leak. If I’m not mistaken, it’s like a brake line with a flared end right? It was readily available when I had to replace it. Unfortunately just torquing it down probably won’t help. Doing that made the leak worse on mine. I get the sense it is pretty malleable metal and once removed two or three times the metal fatigues and mushrooms out of shape and then you get a leak.

I forgot to mention, it is worth checking to make sure the line is properly seated. If not, you may be able to reset it and tighten it down and stop the leak.

Looking at the diagram the end looks like a brake flare end, you can buy a flair kit and a roll of pipe to make your own. You can also buy the flare nuts( might be 10 mm fine thread) Look on e bay or amazon , buy a decent one as the cheap ones are not much good, also mini tube bender

@jdfenn if you go the route @mike32 suggested, FYI you can buy ready made lines from Speedway with the ends already on; just choose the length you need and they are cheap enough to buy some extras in case your bending goes awry.

This is a short bent pipe so you would probably have to make yourself from a tube roll,
