430 Heated seats

There is a F430 in ferrari of beverly hills showroom that has the heated seats option. You can check on their wed site.

 

It was available on early F430's and may still be in some parts of the world. No longer an option for US F430's.

 

It was an option on the coupes only -- I had it in my '06 coupe with power daytonas. It was the biggest waste of money ever; it was barely noticeable on its highest setting, and by the time it was barely warm the heater was working to heat the car's interior anyway...

 

I have the heated seats as option on My 430 spider '08 and i'm verry happy with it.
The name of the option was ; HEAT

 

I think the factory made a mistake as I don't remember ordering it on my '07 430 coupe, but it arrived with the option. IMO it's a waste of money and it was hardly noticeable at it's highest setting.

 

That alwasy made me scratch my head. I was told that is was only an option on the coupe not the spider. My06 Spider I could not order heated seats? WTF. Top down in the am or evening, a little cold out, what car would be better suited for heated seats that a Spider?

the 430 heater is pretty good, but I still wish my spider had em....

 

I know how crazy....let put seat heaters in a car with a roof and none in cars without????

 

I suspect the current draw of the seat heaters plus the gazillion power top motors, actuators and switches is too much for the racing spec battery and charging system.

 

Correct it was not available when I ordered my 2007 F430 with daytona seats

 

did 360s ever come with heated seats ?

 

You wouldn't think it would be that difficult for the system to cut the power to the seat heaters while the top was operating.
