My 430 is almost here and I am flat out of garage space so much to my regret my 512M must go. The car is #44 Black/tan with 16,000 miles. Anybody know of a good home let me know.

i'm certain you must have some great other mid engine cars as you are letting go of the m for a 430!?! ...why would sell "the one" for 1 of 12,000?

Are you nuts geting rid of the 512M? I know the 430 is a nice car. But the M is an all time classic.

I say keep the M.... That is a rare and beautiful TR.......
There are those garages that you can have built up like a "tuff shed" but it is the size of a garage...
Put it in your backyard and keep the TR... ;)

I understand that when you feel like an upgrade, nothing will stop you changing your mind. But swapping a 512M for a new 430 is not an upgrade but a slight downgrade. 430's are soon to be ten to a penny, and it's just starting to get that way, especially now in London where I'm based, I see at least 1 to 2 everytime I take a stroll around the westend. How many 512M's do you see anywhere? 1 every 5 years perhaps. Plus they are twice as headturning as a 430. If I were you I would rethink my upgrade and either keep the 512M or actually upgrade to a more exotic looking car. On the other hand, perhaps you don't want something as flash for your next car and that is why you are considering a 430. This is not an opinion but a fact.

What would you do if the Stradale is the same price as your 512M. Keep the M or move to Stradale ?

Every week, I lose more and more desire for modern cars.

    - With all the electronic gadgets, power steering, increased ride height, over refinement, auto boxes, sound deadening material, cup holders, and mass produced feel.

I see 360's all over the place. I am sure the 430 will be even worse. They are nothing but production cars today. I feel for the guy that pays over MSRP and decides to keep the car ten years. Just wait until something is out of warranty and no longer functions. Those F-1 autoboxes will cost a fortune to replace. The dealership cannot fix those.

A F512M........ That is a special car. One of the last !

It is 98% finished. Just about time to fire it up. I saw it last week. I hate to push a mechanic. The real reason I have no reason to push, is that I have to move a bunch of pallets in the back of my office, to make some room. That is do-able. It is just a pain in the neck.

I am between houses. I am currently homeless. My father has excellent rent for all of us. No dinero or bills !! Unfortunately their is no garage.

I just got an e-mail from Matthew Bell last week. The s/s silencer is complete. He sent me pics. I just want a final invoice, that includes freight.

    Ciao
