    Hi Guys

I know F430 Manifolds / headers are the devils work and prone to self destruction

but is it the same with 430 Scuderias (2009)

as i understand the F430 has pre cats in manifolds but the 430 Scuderia does not so different manifolds ?

any help welcomed to settle my growing paranoia / fear of failure

    many thanks
    Tim

so how does Scud pass smog ?
why don't Ferrari just put on Scud header on regular F430 ?

Scud has secondary air injection to get main cats up to temperature quicker.

Scud headers survive better because the whole exhaust is different with better/different supports and brackets. No pre-cats is a big plus too.

No pre-cats to worry about on the Scud, and exactly what Mark explained. With that being said, there is still a bit of performance stored up in them.
