I have tried to follow the forums here and find this information, but I am not getting what I think I need.

Does anyone have experience with the 430/360 manual transmission clutch? I have a new clutch in my 430 and about 500 miles on it. I want to see if i need to alter the engagement point for the clutch now that it is a little worn in.

With my other cars, I can simply adjust the cable tension to change the engagement point. Right now it is at the top of the pedal with 1" or so of loose play, but it seems a little too high.

Any advice is extremely helpful. Thanks!

That seems to be right on the money to me. I'm pretty sure you should have one inch of play and the clutch pedal does catch towards the top. If I find any more information I will post it up. Also the clutch pedal and brake pedal are supposed to be the same height

It is self adjusting and should never require adjustment. The only adjustment that even exists is pushrod length and that in every single case should only require attention when or if a clutch master cylinder is replaced. And it is set with very slight freeplay to insure piston retracts fully with pedal at rest.

The pedal stop which is something entirely different is so the pedals come up to the same height.

Thanks. The pedals are in the correct alignment. It seems that is correctly set. I just did not want to be not fully engaging the clutch and causing extra wear if the engagement point is too high.

Also an interesting point that these are self adjusting made by Rifledriver. I did not realize that ferrari had that built into their cabeling. Thanks for the info.

Thank you. I was not aware that the pedal travel self-adjusts. Very interesting....

My personal opinion is that 1" of freeplay is alot in the pedal, and annoying when driving. If you adjust the pushrod to have *some* free play, making sure the piston is fully retracted, should be enough ? I have set mine to about less than 1/2" play..
