I'm currently actively pursuing a 430 spider. I know with the 360 there were some significant improvements between the model years. I've tried the search function but haven't been able to find this information for the 430's. Would someone be kind enough to spell these out ( or point me to the thread where they have been listed).
    Thank you,
    Patrick.

The only "improvement" I know of would be the new exhaust manifolds. Not sure what vin# this began with but I think it was late in the 2007 MY. This is a problem area with 430's. I had mine replaced this summer under warranty on my 2005. There are a number of TSB's issued since I bought mine 8/05. If you have a vin#, a dealer can tell you which ones were due and if they have been done. A number of new options were offered after 2005.

The only options I can think of are, Bose stereo, polished exhaust tips, CF rear segment, CF Intakes, CF vents for rear lid.

None of the CF options were availabe when I spec'd mine except the "free" CF instead of aluminum interior trim. I got the aluminum anyway. What are there now, five CF groups? What would all five cost? 30-35K?

Would you please further elaborate what TSB is ? BTW. does that mean any before 2007 model (e.g 2005. 2006) has to fix it under warranty ?

TSB=technical service bulletin. They are not recalls but free updates the factory wants done next time the car is in at Ferrari's expense. Any car that's had service at recommended intervals should be up to date. My car was delivered 8/05 so it had a bunch. The newer it is, the fewer TSB's. Any Ferrari dealer can run a vin# to verify something has been done. The exhaust manifolds are a different story. They are known to crack. There is a new one out but there are no recalls. If one fails after warranty has run out, the owner pays. The EPA only requires a 2 year warranty on these although Ferrari warranties them for 3. Mine were just barely cracked a month before the warranty was out with 12K on the car. A good reason to drive a lot. Some states may have laws that supersede EPA.

Dave, I had the same issue with my Exhaust Manifolds on my 355 and Alan at FOC replaced them due to California Law being longer than EPA.
