430 430 Oil Filters from China

Decided I would take a chance on picking up a couple 430 oil filters from a popular auction site, shipped from China. These are portrayed as being OEM Ferrari, but they are not, even though they are shipped in a very similar box to OEM and the writing on the filters say made in France. In fact the writing on the filters is exactly the same as the OEM filters. It’s when you look inside the filter that you can see a notable difference between the two. The clean filter in these pics is the Chinese version and the oily one is the OEM. Luckily I had a couple OEMs to use. Threw away the Chinese ones. Lesson learned and hopefully this will save some of my fellow 430’s from learning this the hard way.
