Just a quick one, did a search but couldn't get a answer to this specific question... has anyone replaced their OEM battery for an aftermarket battery and can they confirm if the Ferrari OEM charger still works with it?

My current battery (OEM) lasts 2/3 days tops without being charged, surely there is a battery that can hold upto at least a week without needing to be charged or am I asking too much?!

    Cheers, J

The Ferrari OEM works with most/all battery types. You can find more info at http://www.ctek.com/

It is a Swedish company, and I have been using their products for a long time. Been using them on my cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers etc...

    Thanks for the info!

I think the Odyssey PC925 is the battery to get. If anyone has this installed and is using the OEM charger please can you chime in and confirm if all is well :)

Also if I fully charge this battery will I be ok not charge it for at least a week without the battery dying?

I currently have an Optima yellow top in my 2005 F430 using the stock charger for about a year now. So far it has worked great with no issues. Battery stays charged between drives and no issues with a dead battery like before.

That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.

    Thanks
