Need some help, have a 2008 scud and my manifold has failed. Tried getting replacement from Ricambi and Scuderia parts and they said factory is no longer allowing them to sell, it must go through a dealer. Dealer is charging almost double. Is this normal? Should I go aftermarket? If I go aftermarket, will I have any issues? I’m leaning towards Capristo due to their design and also include the addition of heat blanket. Any recommendations from Scud owners?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

You would be fine (maybe better) with Capristos.....

I put a set of Capritso's on a Scud not too long ago. Excellent product.

Did you just put on the manifold and heat shields or full exhaust? Any CEL or other issues? Is it significantly louder?

Any aftermarket option would be far superior than OEM, both in terms of quality and performance. You should take this opportunity to change the whole system out, if you’re interested in achieving a true F1 shrill (but Capristo won’t get you there).

The manifold tubes are a larger in diameter. So the sound of the car gets a bit deeper in tone. It's quite nice. I installed just the manifolds with the heat blankets. The rest was left stock. It sounded amazing. Zero engine light issues.
