    Hello fellowchatters

I have searched high and low , asked on a few different threads, etc how to properly flush the f1 fluid but still after months do not have the proper steps to perform such function. Like myself, a number of you have offered thoughts which probably will do the trick but was hoping for a positive proven method. I would say a WSM method but I don't think it is in the WSM since it was thought it would never be needed. At this point I would even consider how Ferrari suggests flushing f1 in a 599 since I think that may be in the wsm. You would think my ask is not big considering many have had it done and by the Indy techs on here but unfortunately I have not been successful.

Just a note I am speaking about the process using a sdx, autel or x431 tool.

Any input would be appreciated but am hoping to hear how Ferrari recommends the sequence and process

    Thanks in advance

No one ? It still surprises me that no one can give me a Ferrari recommended method even if from a 599

Here is what it says in the 599 GTO WSM.

    Bleeding the gearbox actuator
Actuator bleeding screws Screw 5.25 Nm A
    Tightening torque Nm Class
After replacing the system components, bleed the air from the circuit.
Working from under the vehicle, remove the heat
shield (1) to allow better access to the bleed
    screws on the actuator.
Connect the DEIS tester to the diagnostic
    socket ( L2.12).
Check the F1 gearbox system oil level ( A3.03).
Loosen each of the bleed screws (2) by two turns.
Perform the automatic actuator bleeding procedure
with the DEIS tester and wait for the procedure
    to be completed.
    Tighten the bleed screws (2).
    Tightening torque Nm Class
    Screw 5.25 Nm A
Check the F1 gearbox system oil level ( A3.03).
    Refit the heat shield (1).

Really appreciate the response but I see that is for bleeding the actuator which I have the wsm for the Scud which is similar to what you gave me

What I was hoping for was a "total flush/ replacement " procedure which I assume the bleeding may be part of you

    Any thoughts on that ?

Thank as always for your input here and the rest of the forum

Dominick- They actually show sucking it out with a turkey baster type tool and a hose. Nothing more than that for the 599 or GTO WSMs. My techs already do that each year for about half of the fluid. If you are going to bleed, you can pull out all the fluid you can reach. That gets most of it. The rest will mix together.

    Thank you

That probably explains why I can't find anything more elaborate

I was making it more complicated than it needs to be

I guess I was thinking it would have been something like suck as much out as possible then open e-diff bleed, followed by clutch bleed and then perform actuator bleed .... Made that up ..but that's what I was thinking along those lines

I guess since i did not want to mix different types of fluid I was hoping for a process which would get rid of 99.99 percent
