? I would say after 4 Kids, and being married 3 times....Heidi Klum is definitely obsolete! Her "engine" has been worked in well... I guess you are into sloppy seconds....no harm in that.
The 430 or Scud is not obsolete just as a 250LM Daytona or Boxer is not obsolete they are a Classic always will be. There are some not happy unless they have the shinyest new toy, the 458 is that now but if you are happy with what you drive who cares what some may think you will always have someone making some comment negative about any car so keeping up with the Joneses is a loosing game, epecially to get praise from some 17 year old that knows it all from playing Gran Turismo 5 or Playstation. Now I am going fo a early morning run through the mountains in one of my obsolete over the hill Ferraris.
Scud will be remembered as the best sports car of it's time, capable of turning out a lap time in the range of a Enzo or C-GT and in that sense will be an instant classic. As a everyday car there are dividing opinions, as confirmed in this thread. If the 458 can manage that difficult task better has to be seen, it's much to soon to answer that. Let the first euphoria go and than compare the two. To question if the scud will be obsolete is bit hard. I would rather ask if it will be topped as the best actual sports car, in other words if we have a new king (of the ring ).
It's really not appropriate to measure the Scud, or the CS against the standard 458. The 458 will go through the same evolutionary process as the 360 and 430 did. There will eventually be a Spider, and of course a more aggressive trackable street car. That version is what you measure against the Scud. Perhaps by the time they get around to that, Ferrari will understand the attraction of a limited series and make the CS/Scud version of the 458 really hard core and hard to get. That's what creates lasting value.
I did, 5 in last 7 years. 599 had extracampionario options on it that didn't fit on the sticker. Didn't need to deal with a dealer who screws with customers and has rep for same elsewhere. PS, mod took photo awhile back, but it suits. Found another, don't have one in all the cars, didn't think I needed to prove jack to some elitist prick. Mod made this for me too PPS It is "At least YOU'RE subscribed" in your post title. Back on track, neither is obsolete, only attitudes of some, and uneducated comments by others. One never knows backgrounds at times. Witness BJ ROFLMAO. Is it really BJ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
After starting such a contentious thread you should expect backlash from a whole group of owners and non owners familiar with these cars. Your ridiculous and sophomoric last post show that you are indeed here trolling for trouble and not looking for any type of constructive point and counterpoint. Its really tiring. Be respectful or STFU!

I would hardly call nor refer to the new Mercedes Benz Gullwing as "not that much different from the last. When you talk about new models for Ferrari least we not forget the California....Hardly a model that would be called a resounding success.....Mark.
Like it or not (I don't) ,that California is pretty much sold out for the next 2 years, unlike any AMG I could recall......
But the SLS will be outsold for more than 2 years. Campaign begins already here in Germany about allocations.
Friend there is a wait list for the California. Were it unsuccessful it would be ill-received by reflecting a lack of orders, but the opposite is true. The constant hate of the car by some forum members clearly doesn't reflect buying trends in reality.
? I'm not trolling for trouble...I'm simply establishing an argument and a discussion about a new Ferrari which is being released. I could care less about your negative aggression towards me, I'm a subscribed member and can post any topic I wish to. There have been some members who posted quite respectfully, and responded with decent replies to this topic. On the other hand you have just been a disrespective mutt who continues to fight with this thread. If you don't like it, I suggest you don't post here anymore. And speaking of ridiculous and sophomoric, how could a "respected" (lol) member like you tell me to STFU ? Not nice....I expect an aplogy. Anyways, back on topic. I have experienced the thrill of a 430 Scuderia, but will the 458 equal its performance and value? It definitely has the looks and numbers to do so.
Hey sb....you are seriously barking up the wrong tree. "Respected"?? You mean like you with your 6k post?? LOL What a joke. Crawl back under that junker you got out of! Please. You know the only way I'd apologize to you is if you respectfully apologized to Stokpro. Dish it.....expect to receive in kind.
Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you or Stokpro, I apologize for any negative comments I made towards you guys.... I don't want to get into a shouting match so lets all calm down. Its great that you have a Scuderia, and you like taking fancy pictures of your driveway.....but I also don't appreciate the fact that you are telling me to "STFU" and to "Crawl back under that junker" when you know nothing about me, or what I do. (And what I have done here on FCHAT). You should be careful about who you open your mouth to.... But I digress...and let us resume this controversial topic of the fabulous 458!
Alright then........I too regress and respectfully apologize to you. I usually refuse to get into shouting matches with anyone, member or not here on Fchat, its just not worth my time. I'm for the most part a "positive" kind of guy. What I won't tolerate though is disrespect to a close friend..........internet or not. And personal attacks are not my style.....well not anymore so again I take them back......heat of the moment I'm sure you understand. Controversial topic is right. But why does it have to be? The overwhelming response to this car is positive. I love everything about the design, but then I love everything about Ferraris so I could be biased in that regard. Perhaps the "topic" of the thread could have been worded differently??
Perhaps............but then you and I wouldn't have gotten to know eachother like we did! I think you have a spectacular collection, and I assume you will be adding a 458 to the garage as well?
Haha.....true! Whatever it takes Thanks and I've already been given @&#% about the "driveway" pics from the local contingent here. lol Most likely the Spider and lightweight version. It is a spectacular design and I have no doubt performance will be up to par with anything currently out there............but the Scud/16M still won't be obsolete then! You knew I "had" to throw that in.
