430 Shock threat problem

I have a friend with a 430 and today he tried to lower this car and the collar in the shock body is impossible to release ,he has the correct shock collar tool and he also compressed the spring and it is not possible to move the shock collar even with heat and WD40.

Anyone knows how to unscrew the collar?

 

It is probably seized. The spring perches rotate on the strut, you need two spanners to get them loose.

The strut tops are fixed, they don't rotate. The Moton Version does rotate to facilitate installing springs.

Two good spanners and WD40 should do it.

Yes one shock spacer is sized,so they had to machine the spacer all the way and he bought a new spacer,this is a common problem in F and Lambo cars.
They also used WD40 and didn't worked...
