    Belong to anyone here? Coming home from running errands with my wife and 2 daughters, and followed a beautiful rosso corsa 430 Spyder through Marlborough, MA on Saturday. Enjoyed every minute of the engine winding up and down in slow traffic. Car pulled into retirement home! Beautiful car, whomever it belonged to.

    Ironically, I was driving a 612 for work for a while and it never got my wife to "buy in" to what the Ferrari mystique is all about- the sound of the 430 did, though! :)

    If I were driving a 612 as a "company car", I wouldnt care how taped up it was. :D

    Thanks Gio, I picked it up in Feb, its a 2005 with 4,900 miles. My 91 year old grandmother lives in the senior home, I was paying her a visit. Never could have had the opportunities in life without her courageous trip from Ireland over 70 years ago!

    The plate on my car carries my last name!

    were you driving on mass ave in boston on monday or parked outside the 4 seasons yesterday?

    didn't think to look at the plate, but have been seeing red f430 spyders a lot lately, and there can't be that many of them ...

    Che bella machina!. We end up visiting that retirement home every October when they put on a nice fall festival, presumably so that the residents can get some quality time with their grandchildren (we live right near there). My mother-in-law is a geriatric nurse and in her opinion it's quite a nice facility.

    And yes, I work for Bose as RMDC pointed out and while I've since moved to a new position, I was the product marketing manager for the Media System during its final testing and launch in 2007-2008. We've had various 612s floating around Massachusetts during the course of the Media System development. The "taped up and beat-looking" cars referred to in this thread weren't intended to be pretty- they were development platforms intended for testing, not unlike the camoflaged vehicles you see in spy pics, but in full production trim in this case. Steve at Ferrari of New England did a great job of taking care of them for us so we could ensure as little down time as possible.

    Good stuff, and a really fun project!

    My family and I saw 'FERRIS' in front of VIA's this Saturday in Worcester....nice car!
