Not as much of an design revolution as Ferrari pulled off with the change from 355 to 360 (which I was hoping for a reeat of), but I think they've got it broadly right.

The rear treatment works really well for me - it has a very aggressive stance and looks the part. Personally, I think it's a shame that the front-end looks so similar to the 360 - I would have liked to see something a little more radical - perhaps Enzo inspired - featuring up front. It will be interesting to see the car with UK plates, as presently, I think the grillwork and those plastic 'scoops' look a little awkward.

Now roll on the 575 Stradale and Barchetta models!

I think the 430 looks better in the darker colors like the dark red/maroonish black and the tdf is also nice the only thing that i dont like is the rear end headlights looks horrible althougth i think it looked nice on the enzo.

IMHO I think it looks great and am seriously thinking of putting down a deposit for the spider which I am led to believe will be here in 2007.

The technical data on the owner's site state 490hp at 8500rpm, 0-100KPH in 4.0 sec, top speed in excess of 195MPH.

Other than the headlamps, I was struck at how similar the look was to the 360.

The owner's site says the 430 has an electronic differential and updated F1 software.

I disliked it initially, but having seen the official photos in the mags recently, I just love it! Useful power increases too...

    Bring it on, Lamborghini/Porsche!

I personally think the F430 is awesome - first new ferrari for ages that I've really liked from the kick off. Anyone got any ideas what the waiting list is if I went in and put a deposit down tomorrow ?

I saw that F40- isn't that Jeff Dix's multiple concours winner? If so, must be amongst the best in existence.
