Does anyone know the thread size of the tow loop that goes with a 2007 F430? I'm planning to make a license plate mount that would screw in there that would be easy to install and remove.

A company called Formula Dynamics makes one, saving you the time to reinvent the wheel. That being said, I found the people (or person) that sold me the piece very unpleasant when I complained that the unit did not screw into the car. They claimed that something was wrong with my car. It turned out that the shaft was a little too thick to fit through the grill and properly line up with the female threads. I had the shaft turned down on a lathe by a machine shop and it fits fine now. Quite ugly but it does the job. I leave it in my trunk ready to install it roadside if a cop stops me. So far they haven't. Used to get busted for no front plate all the time in my RUF.

Interesting. Standard pitch for an M16 thread is a 2.0, so the 1.5 would be a special thread. Leave it to Ferrari to make it difficult.

+430!! Most of the thread pitches are fine pitch for the given bolt diameters on this car. Always harder to find and more expensive!
