    Hi
have a 430 coupe (about to pick up, new) and want to put a tubi on it...
can get a tubi from a contact for it, but regariding the fitting is it a straight
bolt of the standard one and bolt on the tubi or does it need to be done with specialist tools and knowledge etc..?

and also does it need to be set up on any computers for tunning etc...?

    Any help would be great

    Thanks, Nick

    Nick,
You don't need Tubi on a F430. Just unplug the vaccum lines on the the exhust valves, bend the line over and clamp so no dirt gets in the line and you are done. (takes 30 seconds)

It's real simple, unplug the vaccum hose from the valves and plug the tubes.
The valves work on a loss of vaccum so you are set. Keep in mind that your car will be much louder there after.

I have pictures of every other part of the exhaust except the valves.
But it could not be more simple. Open the engine cover and look straight down, on either side of the muffler you will see the valves with the vacuum lines. Pull of the hoses, and plug them then tuck them up under the lines on the frame rail so they dont flap about. But you are still left with those ugly tips.

Can't you guys just unplug the electrical connections from the valves like on 360s instead of pulling the hoses? Or is the F430 different?

no need for tubi, the sound of it is very similar to the original, if you want something unique, consider a capristo exhaust.

Putting the capriso on alone will not change the sound as much as it did on a 360. Put a capristo with Hyper-Flow cats, thats when the sound really comes alive.
