    I know there may be some bias here, but can anyone compare and contrast the 430 vs a Gallardo? I know it may be blasphemy here, but I'd like to hear from owners who have happened to own both ... and to hear what their thoughts are.

    Ive own a F430 Scuderia longtime ago after my dad have used it for 3 yrs. For me that time, the car is really FAST and I like the handling (in my own opinion). But the Gallardo, i dont know. Ive never own or driven one. But I think the right car to be compared to the Gallardo is the 458.

    If ever compared, 458 and Gallardo, i'd think i'll go with 458. Reason? I think there's no need for it. :)

    When you compare Gallardo to a 458, are you comparing performance? Is the Gallardo that much better than the 430?
    Obviously, I'd take a 458 any day over a Gallardo, but the price points for, say an '06 430 vs Gallardo are similar.

    I've driven F430s (I've driven a coupe and a spider), a 458 Italia, and I've driven a Gallardo Spyder as well. The differences between the Gallardo and the F430 are miles apart, IMO. From a driver's standpoint, the Gallardo feels much heavier and less nimble than the F430. I don't think you can really compare the two...they feel THAT different to me. The Gallardo feels as though it's all torque while the F430 feels like it's on rails. The Gallardo's steering is heavier and requires a bit more effort. The way I like to think of driving a Gallardo is it's like driving a truck that's extremely low to the ground. I felt much more connected with the Ferrari and felt more comfortable (more confident) in the F430 than the Gallardo. This is just my opinion though; you will have people that will tell you the Gallardo is 100x better than the F430 and you will have people that say the F430 is 100x better than the Gallardo. I just think that they feel so different from each other, it's not really fair to compare them. Just my two cents...

    I'm comparing about the looks and performance. There's nothing much to debate on comparing the two.

    430 hands down. More beautiful styling, better sound (IMO) and a wonderful Ferrari for many occasions.
