SCCA announced today that it is permitting 430Cs to use the factory 19" wheels when competing in STO. Min weight was bumped to 3050.

I suspect the weight addition, 2880 to 3050, was more or less pulled out of the air and it seems harsh to me. Nonetheless I'm glad to see them permit 19s and I plan to participate both in some of the FCRA races, and in SCCA, and hope some of you will join me in the latter.

In 9.1.10, T1, delete the Ferrari 430 Challenge ((06-07). These cars are classified and welcomed in STO and their owners are encouraged to take advantage of the lower weight and other allowances in that class.

Competizione & Sports Cars will be represented at the Sebring double national with at least one, and likely two 430Cs in STO.

The car was badly misclassified in T1. It really should be in a GT class, but I suspect it doesn't work in GT2. SCCA needs something like a GT2A for the 997 Cup Cars and faster GTs.
