Just tried to order another set of Pirelli slicks from Frisby Performance Tire. They said there are NO fronts (235/645-19) in the country and no projected delivery date....... Has anyone come up with a substitute they are happy with? This could kill many a track days..... I have sent an email to Frisby asking what they think people are using.
    Thanks
    Peter

I’ve got some extras (new) if someone’s in a crunch this season.

Clearly I would take a set or two also! Worried about even getting through FCA track days a VIR and Watkins Glenn much less some other days. Please DM me.
    Thanks

Guys, Hoosier makes the R7 in a 235/35/19 and 295/35/19. Though they are not a true slick, they are an excellent race tire and they are reasonably priced. I have raced on them for over a year now. I would say they are comparable to the hankook slick tire, but honestly last longer.

However you can get the hankook in the 250 front 300 rear.. might be a tad large. That is what i ran on my 458 challenge car.. however they were a harder compound front than rear and the fronts would fall off way before the rears would. you could honestly probably do a hankook rear and a hoosier front. I would be they would feel pretty good together.
