I have 430C wheels on my car. I know that I tighten them to 550NM with the car in the air, but I have never been 100% sure of where to apply the lube to the nuts. My manual just says on the nuts. Is it to just the face of the cone, or is it also to the threads themselves? I figured this would be the best place to ask. Thank you.

I spray on the cone, where the nut contacts the rim

And make very sure that there are no paint debris on the rim’s cone, otherwise nut will get loose easily when hot.

We put antiseize lightly on the threads and on the flat part of the cone, Most "lubricant" will evaporate too quickly with heat

And it gets centrifuged through the cone
