I have a 44 year collection of Road and Track. It is complete. I am not sure why. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but I seldom have time to reference it.
Perhaps if I did not have a life, I could scan it all in, and immediately get sued.
I do like the mag. It represents a good mix of content: road tests, social, and technical. I always read Peter Egan first, followed by People and Places (like the comics), followed by the road tests and technical stuff edited by Dennis S.
Do you have a magazine collection?

cool - growing up I was and remain very much a R&T and Henry N Manney fan.
I have almost every Forza and all of the early German Ferrari World in sets. Also have the odd early English market version of FW as well.

Well, I have a 36-year collection of R&T myself, and I do occasionally refer to the back issues. For instance, when I was in the market for my first Ferrari, I pulled out the issues with the road tests for the 308 and the 328.

I wish they, in conjunction with Brooklands Books, would put out at least one more collection of Henry Manney stories and race reports, and another collection of "PS" features.

I also wish they would collect all their "April Fools" road tests in a similar volume, and similarly for their annual Grand Prix statistical reviews (which I think they should still be doing!). Is anyone associated with the magazine reading this??

I should mention that I also have every issue of Forza, as well as an "off-topic" (but very well done) magazine called Collectible Automobile. Otherwise my automotive magazine collection consists of sundry issues bought at newsstands. (I like Car & Driver's annual "10 Best" issue, but they used to be better.)
