What an absolute treat today!

Felt like chatting with your favorite grad school professor about life/travel and things other than your “focus of study”.

Bonus points if you meet
someone IRL (in real life) and take a photo….i feel dumb that I didn’t take a photo with Terry and his hotrodded red 575.

I should have started a thread like this for all of us ages ago when I first circled up the “San Jose Area” guys in NorCal.

I’m currently on this
“Griswold-style National Park” road trip with my wife and daughters and it’s at an intense pace and was SO pumped Terry agreed to take out time for me as I sped thru his area
(I could have listened to him and chatted for a whole long weekend!

This thread might also be a neat way to share the brotherhood/friendship/fellowship and then assist guys that want
the “owner” tag.

My wife is a saint because I always travel so hard and fast and I love seeing people like Terry along the way. Also got to see an old vintage bronco racing buddy for an hour in Charlotte while on this 2400 mile 9-day road trip.

MONTEREY CAR WEEK is coming up….maybe we need to have a meet up at Concorso Italiano?

 

I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many of us here in the 456/550/575 sub forum.

It was on a March 2022 trip to Miami with my wife and on that one I got so lucky to spend a few hours with @SteveVT and go to a Miami area car show (it was just luck he was down in South Florida at the same time).

The first Bay Area group meet I got to coordinate was with

Then when we did the Canepa meet up and lunch…many guys attended…and we got to add a few “new to me” guys to the mix.
