    Hi..
does anyone know of manufacturer (other than F factory) that makes replacement radiators for 456 or 550 ? You Japanese have Koyo that makes awsome products.. Is there any for F?
    Thanks

I don't know of anyone that makes a replacement but that doesn't mean that one doesn't exist.

The early 456s had a combined oil cooler / engine water cooler. In later years they split these into two units. I suspect that the single combined unit would be harder to work on.

You might want to remove the radiator and take it to a good local radiator shop and see if they can repair it (probably recore it).

    Good luck.

Even in Australia where all parts are expensive due to shipping, they're "only" $2000 AUD... about $1500US....

they're great quality and fit nicely of course. I changed one just this week. Straight swap in about 3 hours all up.

Any compromise to fit and shape would be hard to overcome to make one fit nicely... I wouldn't bother making aftermarket for 550... I think it'd detract from value.

$1500??? Phil, thats cheap. No way you get one here for that price. I had one fixed about a year ago and as I recall there are 2 different part numbers for 456, at least the M. One was about $3 or $4 k and I think the other was $9k

Shipping costs are nothing compared to the mark up done by FNA.

Aussie dealer retail price for 550 radiator AUD $1978.81 + 10% tax...

and thats the melbourne dealer... which makes it at least 3rd hand.. comes in via importer... stored by independant warehousing company... then sent interstate to dealer..

I buy off the dealer at my trade rate, and sell for less than dealer retail.
