    Any idea how I could buy a replacement front ashtray for 456M? The whole unit. I guess it is just years of use, but the plastic surround broke and it is impossible to glue back together.

    That’s funny, almost every single 456M has a broken ashtray.
    Including mine, I always wondered exactly why that was.

    They are expensive (and a totally different part number from any other F car ashtray but they look exactly the same as a few others). I think I paid $400 or so on scuderiacarparts

    It is funny and scuderiacarparts is the only place that even remotely has one. I talked to them and the part ison back order. Not surprising as how many 456M ash trays are needed in this world. Their catablog has an exploded view of the dash and parts and the illustration sure looks like the correct part. Did the one you bought fit nicely? And thanks.

    Yes it for perfectly. I figured there were not too many floating around so I grabbed the first one I saw. My rear is also busted and it is a bit different (as your may be) as it has a silver cavalino horse as opposed to the flags. I think that was a later/final car change.

    Check with StickyRx Refinishing Solutions or the other panel refinishers. They can often fix them and may have some spares or spare parts.

    Mine has the same rear ashtray. My car was built in January 2003. I wonder what the last build number car was? Probably for Euro customers. Typical and I bet a lot of you have experienced the Ferrari maglite battery cap is impossible to remove. And we're not alone, there are at least a half dozen videos on how to get them off and most fail.

    I have a Becker but do not have voice Navigation (I think that is a “Traffic Pro” - I read it has an “angular rare sensor” prone to damage).

    I believe the traffic pro came in JUST after 456m production stopped. I do believe mine has some sort of nonsense traffic function I never use.

    Could be 100% wrong.

    Dammit. I literally just broke down and ordered a new OE rear (version 2) ashtray yesterday.
