    Saw a red 456 Cabriolet in Novato (about 20 minutes north of SF) at lunchtime today. Never seen it around here before, and unfortunately, it was pulling out of the parking lot as I was pulling in, so I didn't get to check it out. Anyone know anything about it, or who owns it?

    It's an aftermarket conversion of some kind. Pininfarina did a few for the Sultan of Brunei, Stramann did a few here in the U.S. I don't know of anyone else.

    Pininfarina did indeed do a cab version of the 456, and of course which u know about--456 estate, 456 4-door and 2 456 infra-red nite cars, apart from the nite cars the other bespokes came under the venice banner, while working in brunei i was lucky enough to drive a few Royal Cars and hell the 456's where one of the most used Raris during my spell under the workshop roof, a real fav for some of the key members of the bruneian royals, its kinda sorry to hear that the venice collection is all spliting apart, shame as it was quite a sight to see most of the venice 456's parked next to each other under the main Ferrari garage! well money talks i guess

    The Straman car (is there more than one?) has been for sale off and on for the last several years, I thought in California... However, I believe it was blue?

    Believe it was a Straman conversion...
