    Due to shrinkage I need to recover the dash on my 456.

    I know there is a thread about 550 removal but haven't found one for the 456.

    Can anybody post the details of 456 dash removal?

    Note - mine is an early 456, not an M.

    You must remove the hood release mechanism when dismanteling the dash. Dont break it. There is some leather sewing involved for the dash piece. Get a pro to do that.
