456 door light problem

When you open the door the center lamp on the upper binnacle, a red marker light on the door as well as light under the door are supposed to light. They do on my left door but not on the right. As suggested I have checked the micro switch on right door jam and it operates correctly. Furthermore if I connect the red marker light plug to ground the lower light and the interior illuminate as they should but not with a bulb installed in the socket of the red light. I have replaced that bulb with 3 others including the one in the tool kit with no success. I have also checked the multiplug in the door which showed all sockets ok.

Anyone have any other suggestions of where to look?
