Mass airflow sensor. First try cleaning the electrical connectors to see if that helps. I've had these go bad on other cars but am not familiar with them on the 456. On other cars there is a wire inside them that gets dirty that if you spray with electrical contact cleaner that will also sometimes do the trick.

Hi guys, can you tell me how to get the code for the check engine light?

I've had a check engine light which indicates an electronic or ignition problem, but is there any way to know what to check other than taking the car to a ferrari dealer?

In searching for a cure to a brief stumbling after hitting the throttle in my 575 I disconnected the MAFs and went for a drive. No CEL during the drive and the car was very strong on the limp home MAP. As an aside the stumbling seems to be an overly aggressive ASR. Interestingly I then last week got my ECUs read by the Perth dealer's SD2 which did not show up any MAF related issues saved?????????

You can also switch the MAS to the other side and see if the check engine light follows.

I'd also like to know how to check the code. I have a check engine light coming on, but no indication of what the code is.

The code can be read by a computer that is usually only in the hands of the dealer and rarely in the hands of independents.
Sometimes it may prove to be cost effective to take the car to the dealer and hit the cause of the problem right away, rather than going through a lengthy search of hit or miss.
    Just my 2 cents.
