456 factory video...

This video is recommended if you can find it. I won the 456 and 355 factory videos from ebay a few days ago. The 355 one was very poor in content compared to the 456 one. Damned shame because i own the 355
Any ways the video shows the 456 being drawn, developed, fabricated, built on the production line and the engine moulded founded and hand built Interesting bit as well was the showing of the same type of mesuring machine that is featured in the new 599 video posted last month on FC.
Like i said they are rare but the factory line videos are out there. Bloody fantastic.

The video was produced by ferrari and was sold at Maranello while the 456 was made. Interesting to watch because all the same production line techniques was used as in the 599 video. All the body dipping, the machine applied primer ect. Though there is alot more human input like welding and finishing of by hand and the manual placement of the valve seats.
Had this thread been a little more active i may have burned it and put it on my photo bucket account for a few days, but alas its died a usual death.

Its not loading for me mate so i cant tell ya. The video was made in 1997 by the company "ferrari idea" if that helps. And the VHS tape has "DURATA" on it. I cant help any more than that unless i get the link you did to down load.
