Purchased a 1997 456 GTA and the key fob works sometimes. I replaced the battery in the fob and it's still the same. I only got one black fob and unfortunately it didn't come with PIN either.

I read on this site about a battery in the siren module but don't know where it is located. Is that something I need to check? Any other ideas? I'm in Nashville, TN and the closest Ferrari OEM dealer is Atlanta so any help would be appreciated!

    Congratulations and welcome.
The key fob battery terminals can become seperated from the circut board and give an intermitent contact.
As for the the code get in touch with Micheal at Immofixer.

Or more locally you can get your one fob cloned by sending it to Gobble (pm here)

Your siren module status will be indicated according to what the red led dash light is doing

You can get an Immobilizer Bypass from ECU Doctors. See this thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575-sponsored-bradan/487889-immobilizer-has-been-bypassed.html

Here is my last post to that thread.
The fob is no longer used for starting. No problems including 3000 mile road trip.

KeithS - Thanks so much for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for! Jorge will be getting a call tomorrow.

On another note, I've also got a 1999 Lotus Esprit V8 with an imobilizer as well. I wonder if Jorge has an answer for that one too??

    Thanks everyone for the responses!!
