    Hi everyone,

As I took a 3 weeks break abroad, I decided to follow the manual's recommandation and turn off the battery.
Now I am just back and I wonder how I am going to be able to enter the car.
The battery off means the window will probably not slide down, when I try to pull the door open, preventing me to open it at all.And if I can not get into the car can't access the command to open the engine hood and turn the battery back on ..
    how stupid..

Any suggestion to open the hood ( wihtout getting into the car ) or the door ( with window not sliding down a bit )

I think you are SOL...just open the door. The window seal will allow the door to open. I did it to my car a few times and there were no issues.

Nex t time, leave hood closed but not shut.

Nothing to worry about. open the door gently.
next time you can try shuting down battery with a door open (ie window fropped half inch) and then close everything. Still it leaves a gap so not good for public places.
