Looking for some advice on what paths I should take on this problem. Got in the 456 this morning, turned the key and the engine didn't turn over. All the lights on the dash came on, the radio and A/C went on, but no engine, no cranking. The battery is good. I have been driving the car often lately and only once in a while did it do this, but always started on the second turn of the key. This morning it took about seven attempts before it turned over immediately as if there was no problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If I had to guess (in order of probability): a bad starter solenoid, starter, starter lead, or starter ground.

Depending on the year, it may not have an immobilizer.
