    I have resently bought a 456. The spoiler light on the dash was working correctly but now (after about 2 weeks) it is flashing continuosly any ideas?

    More than likely the motor (item #5 in picture) isn't working, I would start by checking the connection plug on the motor and go from there.

    thanks for the tip ................... sorry only a novice, how do i 'get to it' (the motor)?

    John - remove undertray #13 and it will give you access, not much though, it's easier with the car in the air either on a ramp or axle stands.

    Did the job and all is working well again!!!

    thanks for all the advice. Next problem! I have just replaced the front pads and the wear sensor was welded/soldered to the old pad? It came away on its own when removing it, how do i re attach the sensor to the new pads, is it a solder job?

    SHOULDNT THE NEW PADS COME WITH A NEW SENSOR ATTACHED?

    SOUNDS LIKE THE WRONG PADS!

    There are two types of front pads for the 456, "Brembo" or "Teves" - both come with the sensors attached, what pads have you fitted, part number ?
