Anyone have a source for HT ignition wires and spark plug connectors other than the outrageously priced full set from Ferrari ??

Yes. One of the guys on the 456 section has made up a coil over plug arrangement for the 456. He let me know two weeks AFTER I bought the lead set from Ferrari for $2500..........

Thanks guys - while I don't doubt the advantages of a coil on plug arrangement I'd really like to stay closer to stock. On my old 911 ( which has (only six) very similar connectors) I did this for something like $150 with good quality aftermarket parts. I don't see why something similar is not possible here. Any ideas??

search on here -I rebuilt both sets - documented on here with some photos - for similar amounts of money to your Porsche rebuild including buying the tools....
