456 Headlight motor

thx from Germany (albeit 5 yrs. later) for the hint of the Bosch Motors (just had the same problem of a non moving headlight).
As some 456 parts seem to share the dinosaur fate (they died out) the list you mentioned in your post would do a great help.

Sure thing! Here is the working link to the Ferrari 456 cross-reference parts spreadsheet. It was last updated some time ago (I no longer own the 456) but I trust it is still useful.

Just wanted to pop up and say thanks for reposting these links @asgor - appreciated by this new 456GT owner

 

Mine was very easy to fix... I removed the motor, opened it up carefully and cleaned out all the old gunk, the plastic gear was in good condition, but I simply lubed it with dielctric grease, reassembled and water proofed (I used a rubberized flexible coating) reinstalled and has been pretty flawless in operation since. Total job took about 4 hours or so?
