    456 heater / aircon fan works intermitantly.

    Turn it on to 1/2/3/4 and nothing happens the a few minutes later it turns on. Try to turn it off and nothing happens for a while then it will eventually go off.

    Other switch positins don't seem to have any effect.

    Any one got any ideas what it could be

    I would check:

    1) fuses & relays
    2) connections to the ecu
    3) connections inside the ecu itself
