    456 hood will not release. Driver side pops up but passenger side will not. Sorry for dumb question but new to Ferraris. Has anyone had this problem

    There's an emergency hood release cable located behind the grill. Look for a loop, snag it with a coat hanger and pull. Hopefully that will get it open.

    The two hood locking pins will no doubt need adjustment and the hood release cable and lever should be cleaned and lubricated.

    Thank you for posting the fix for this problem! I thought I was the only 456 driver to recently experience this embarrassing dilemma. Same deal, driver side hood released but not the passenger side. Appreciate it! '00 456M GTA

    Thanks for the help. Removed front grill and released hood. After getting it open determined that the left side pin was adjusted too far down. 3 quick turns and release works perfect.

    Now if I can just get my tweeters out
