tell us more about the experimental/test wheels?! I ended up putting 18" 575 wheels on - looks fantastic I also finished up the 'experimental' sport/racing seat 'upgrade' - feels and smells wonderful, (although not nearly as cushy as the native seats, and no electircs) Last thing is small tasteful wing on the rear - sort of adds some nice contour to the rear of the otherwise slightly modest 456 butt! pics to follow!!
Picks will come tomorrow. The horrible weather in STL thrown everything off. Short teaser is they are factory/OEM modular front wheels rebuild to fix all the design weakness of the OEM design. Spec is 19x9 ET 39.65, forged barrel+lips. Matched finish to OEM 19in modulars. OE supplier hardware (aka Italian-sourced titanium outer bolts from same supplier as OZ). Wheel value in same location. Inner barrel clearance to permit HGTC brakes. Final weight is a half pound less than the original 19x8.5 ET43.65 spec. My specs were calculated to preserve steering balance/braking balance/scrub radius/etc while still giving the visual result of having a 10mm spacer on the front. Pending how these test wheels go, next will be redesigned rear wheels that give visual stance of 25mm spacers but both forgo the need for spacers and preserving the steering balance of an FHP suspension setup car. (What's the point of getting FHP only to dial out the neutral steering balance with excessive rear spacers...)

Should add, I need to find a collar to fill the gap around the valve stem. That and wash/clean the car. Getting her home was more important (report of more snow this weekend here...ugh). While I wait for the snow to melt/go away, I will keep an eye on the air pressure in the fronts. So far seems ok. Glad I redux'ed the whole fuel system. No fuel smell! As expected the rubber under pumps was completely disintegrated. I can't comment if my running hot issue has been fixed with my new water pump as its in the teens (Fahrenheit)/sub zero (Celcius) here so that will be a spring/summer check. The keen eyed will notice my adapted front wheels outer edge sits about 10mm more than standard 575 wheels (or 16mm more than standard 456 wheels). Likewise, the car has FHP ride height (adapted from the Euro Spec 550 and 575 FHP ride heights), custom Fabio exhaust pipes. Through the driver side window you can make out the 575 steering wheel as well.
I also explored adding the 575 wheel it looks great in there. Those wheels are perfect, I need a matching set. Great job on that car.
