I have changed the Becker radio in my 1999 456MGT to a Becker Cascade, giving me navigation plus handsfree calling via bluetooth. The microfone should be connected to connector C3, points 13 and 14. For some reason there is a factory installed twin wire connected to point 13 and 16. Does somebody has an electrical wiring diagram, where you can see what signals these two wires carry. thanks in advance.
My diagrams for the Traffic Pro say pins 13 & 14 for microphone on socket "C". 13 is white and 14 is yellow. The trick is if you have the CD changer as well. There should be a blue plug with the microphone (socket C3) if you have the CD changer. Let me know if you have both the CD changer and the blue plug.
My previous Becker had a CD changer, and therefore I have the blue plug C3 installed with a number of wires, and of course also C2 is fully wired for that purpose. With the Becker Cascade came a new matching CD changer that is working properly over the existing wiring. The pins connected on my blue C3 plug are pin 18,19 and 20 for the audio signals, and the twin wire connected to 13 and 16, these two making no sense. So my question is again, does somebody now what signals these two wires on pin 13 and 16 are carrying?
