I wonder if that would fit a 308? Never liked the full size spare.

The Volvo space saver spare fits the rear of a 308 directly, but you need to drill a hole for the wheel locater stud (or remove it). The center hub diameter at the front is larger than at the rear, so the Volvo spare won't fit the front of a 308... but if you have a 308 front flat tire, then put the Volvo spare on the rear, and the 308 rear tire on the front.

I have a Volvo XC90 spare tire in my 308. I drilled it for the wheel locater stud.

    Thanks Gordon,

I ended up tracking down a 328 space saver spare, which now sits in the front of the QV, along with the tool roll and jack bag, which now fit up there. Better weight distribution, and more room in the boot, to boot!

Would that work with an F355 with a big brake kit?

To be honest I don’t know, however looking at this the F355 spare firs a few cars but not the 456

The difference will be the hub Center diameter an the wheel PCD. IF measures yours let me know. It may well fit.
The spacer is 30mm thick and the hub Center is 67 ID. what PCD is the f355?

The F355 has a wheel center bore of 67.1mm and the bolt pattern is 5 x 108mm which should be the same as a 456 so this adapter would fit. The difficulty would be determining whether or not a Volvo spare with this adapter would clear your big brake kit unless you did a test fitting.
