    Hello,

I would like to share a problem with my 456GT Catalytic problem. The catalytic converter have been broken out due to the lifetime usage. Slow Down indicator was shown. In the case of taking out the catalytic are their anyway I can do to make the Slow Down light gone? Are their anyway that can make O2 sensor not detecting the false? Any of your suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thank you

The slow down light is directly related to the vescovini box which monitor cat temperature via a thermal-couple. It works on 0-5v reference with anything above 5v setting the light. If the light comes on the dash on a cold start, then you know the vescovini box is bad (you'll have to determine which side by either SD-2 or by buying a box and swamping one of the two out until the light goes out).

As far as the 02 question, the ecus compensate the fuel based upon the readings from the 02 sensors (lean or rich). Without a cat, both sensors will read the same and may set a check engine light because it believes the cat is inefficient.
