Hello, have recently purchased my 456 out of San fran. This is my 20 ferrari, but 1st 456. Have 2 small issues with her. Right headlight will not come up? new issue according to selling. relay? adjustment? motor? #2 front windows need to be adjusted (gap) on side? regulator? adjustment. Thought I would ask before i either try to fix myself/ or take into dealer. Appreciate any and all comments. Rick Brentwood,Tn

Has the window had the fix applied? If not, its not a small repair.

    Good luck with the beast.
the headlight motors are same as the rear under bumper spoiler motor. Check electrically if motor is gone or if its the fuse.

you mention Bay Area: dealer? or 3rd party?

Did you already check the motor relay for that: I needed to change out the relay and it solved it. Try temporarily swapping the rear-window defogger for that motor relay and you will see a difference [at least for me].

ALthough, the rear spoiler has same motor, it is not the same relay type.

I have a shop manual, will try to reseach and get a scan in, but might take awhile especiall during THIS week :)

Lastly, I recall, that if the motor relay is out on ONE light, they are BOTH out. SO, if one is going up and the other not, then it must be the motor. Try looking for a break in the connector just under the motor area, it can be disengaged....might try a long-splice of wire over to the other switch and see if it operates that other side's mechanism.
