    The exterior latch on the driver side is not working correctly. Seldom will the door open with a single pull. It requires multiple pulls to open the door, I have counted 6. The interior latch works fine and the door closes.

    Anyone have similar experience or suggestions? Could lubrication solve the problem? Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

    Interesting. Usually the inside handle breaks first.

    I wonder if the locking mechanism is interfering with the opening (but then you would think it would interfere with the inside handle operation, too). Try cycling the lock using your door key (2) just in case the electrical locking system isn't moving the lock through the full range.

    Could there be a problem with the mechanical linkage between the handle and the latch (see red line) or with the door handle itself?
