    I’m trying to get the window ECU to re-learn the max window height but I’m obviously doing something wrong. Could anyone advise what the exact process is to get the ecu to relearn the window heights on a 456m. I just need it to go a few millimetres higher to get a good seal. I’m aware of all the usual window issues and the rear gaps, but that’s not my problem. Thanks Phil C

    Does this work on a 456M? I can't get it to go through the procedure and make the hazards flash. When I turn to the right and hold, it makes both lock solenoids activate, but I have tried to go through the whole sequence.

    hey reviving old thread. in regards to the above - I think it would work for M because I do not believe the pre-M GT had a key fob; only the M had a fob (I think...)
    I'm having similar window issues...but I gotta say I'm a little concerned about going through the ECU reset because of the fear of something happening to the windows and I won't be able to get them up! or down! Anyway I'm gonna try the microswitch fixes first...then do the ECU if I have to

    Motronic 5.2 456s also had fobs, but the 2.7s did not.
