    Hi all,
I have a 1999 456M GTA that I’m trying to get compliance for in Victoria, Australia. It’s a UK import and I want to know if they had side intrusion bars as standard like the Australian and US delivered models. Does anyone know if they are just part of the door stamping or if they are an obvious bar that stands out? Can someone please post pictures of the inside of the doors of a US or Australian delivered 456M?

I also need Kp/h speedometer face graphic to replace the Mp/h major scale - note that the 456M speedo is different to the older 456 speedo.

Apparently Victoria (VicRoads) is the most stringent in Australia, the other states don't have this requirement for 25 year old imports!
    Thanks

Intrusion bars fall under a Federal ADR, I can't recall which one, but you can look it up. Nothing to do with the State.

Have a look at the parts book for the intrusion bar set up.

The 456M speedometer I'd just replace with the correct km/h version. There's so much stuffing around to change the dial, and if you do, the trip meter and odometer still read in miles.
I've never seen a decent dial overlay anyway, they look like something out of the Fast and Furious on meth IMO.

I'm pretty sure that most manufacturers will make a model compliant for as many markets as possible for cost reasons. It's unlikely that it won't have intrusion bars.
